Suseri – Basara

Suseri is one of my favourite Melbourne based DJ’s and this mix is a prime example why. ‘Basara’ is an expertly mixed symphony of twisted progressive sound with influences ranging from Techno to Psy Trance and beyond. Originally hailing from Nagoya, Japan, Suseri has a unique ability to transport her audience  to a place where the walls of reality quickly fade away and all that is left is the hypnotic sound of one perfect bass line mixed into the next. If you like your sounds underground this mix is for you. For more info please check out Suseri on Facebook and Soundcloud.

Memnok – Late Night Mix 001

Well it’s been a while between updates but never fear I have returned with another audible treat for all the dark Techno lovers out there. Memnok is a DJ and producer from West Michigan and the co-owner of Minimal Techno label Fourth Kind.

This mix is like a deep, dark and twisted journey into another world, seemingly inhabited by a variety of creatures that will eat you as soon as look at you. In other words its awesome and I love it! Hit play if you dare and when its finished don’t blame me if you can’t leave the house any more.

Electrixx live in concert 26.06.2010 maria club

I’ve been a fan of Electrixx AKA Microdizko’s production for quite some time but until now I had never heard a mix from them let alone a live set. When I did it actually blew me away, this mix is a live recording including the screams and howls of an ecstatic Berlin crowd over nearly two hours.

The mixing is as solid as a German tank and the tunes about as brutal. To say this mix is high energy would be an understatement, its 10,000 volts wired straight to your brain and a timely reminder that quality Electro still exists. It will hit the 100 download limit soon so get in quick or I might upload it soon. You can keep tabs on Electrixx via Facebook, Myspace and Soundcloud.

Rips – Aftershock

Well it has been a long time coming, well over a year in fact but I have finally released the follow up to my first Techno mix Tremors. Aftershock continues on the destructive path left by its predecessor with a deep, dark and heavy sound that represents everything I love about this style of music.

You can expect the usual array of wall shaking bass lines and twisted melodies to send you into a spin while each track perfectly blends into the next. Please take a moment to check this one out as I really think anyone with a love for Techno will enjoy it.

Samari’s “GUN METAL 2010″ Mix

This futuristic genre bender is hard to define but Samari of Melbourne, Australia has done a fantastic job of taking no less than 31 tracks and seamlessly bending them into a true dance floor destroyer.

With its hard tech edge, slick vocals and powerful synths ‘Gun Metal 2010′ delivers a relentless assault on the senses that will leave you stunned, hyped and scrambling for your nearest gig guide.

Recorded in just one hit the mix is littered with effects, loops and samples that only serve to enhance an already diverse track selection from artists such as MMM, Das Glow, Shadow Dancer and Zombie Nation.

A truly great mix is that which combines influences from both music and life to create something that is more than just the sum of its parts and ‘Gun Metal 2010′ has achieved this in very fine form.

Chunky funky Tech-House right here. Ugur Project is a veteran Dj and producer from Turkey with a good 10 years of experience behind the decks.
